Description

These railway sleepers can be used for so many different applications.
Not only are they supremely ecologically sustainable, but they also add drama to any outdoor projects.

We sell our oak sleepers with a minimum of two usable faces but they can have a degree wane, splits and uneven ends. At Country Supplies we always buy on quality so these sleepers are Quercus Robur or English Oak and not their cheaper lower quality Quercus Cerris or Turkey Oak.

Dimensions: 100 x 200mm x 2.4m

Note: that as these sleepers are fresh sawn Oak, they can leach Tannin the natural wood preserver within them. This can result in black staining, so we advise leaving a gap between patios and walls to avoid this.

They will if left, fade to a soft grey colour and continue to harden.
